Disney Price Increase: The Left Coast Version

Monday March 29, 2004
It'll cost more to see Mickey in California as well. As with Walt Disney World (see below), Disneyland Resort also raised its prices an additional $2.75 for a one-day adult ticket to its parks, effective yesterday (Sunday, March 28). Because the admission fee had been lower than its Florida counterpart before the jump however, Disneyland's percentage increase--about 6%--is higher. Ouch. The price for adults is now $49.75. Disneyland does offer substantial savings for some advance tickets purchased online. For example, a 5-Day Park Hopper Bonus Ticket for adults is $184 at the gate, but only $129 online. The resort is also offering special annual passes with weekend and holiday blockout dates at reduced prices.
