Disney's Ticket to Ride will Cost You More

Saturday March 27, 2004
It's going to cost you another $2.75 to see the Pirates of the Caribbean pillage the town. Sorry, mateys. Starting tomorrow, a one-day ticket to any of the four Walt Disney World theme parks will cost $54.75, before tax, for adults. That represents a percentage increase of about 5%. One-day admission media for children ages 3 to 9 will increase $1.75 to $43.75. Prices will also rise for Disney World's four- and five-day Park Hopper passes. If you're planning a trip to Florida's theme park haven this year and you haven't purchased your passes yet (and you're reading this on Saturday, March 27), you may want to save a few bucks and order your Walt Disney World tickets online today. (Even if you're reading this after the price increase, ordering passes online should cost less than buying them at the ticket booth.)
