Delaware to Get a Coaster

Monday March 22, 2004
In a world of 200-foot-tall hypercoasters and thrill machines that reach speeds of 100mph, the Zyklon coaster may not be much. But, when it debuts this season at the Blue Diamond Park in New Castle, Delaware, it will be the state's only roller coaster. According to The News Journal, the coaster, which will reach a maximum height of 60 feet, comes from DelGrosso's Amusement Park in Pennsylvania. The off-the-shelf coaster is a staple at many small amusement parks. The new park will also feature paintball, miniature golf, and go-karts.
