Speaking of Universal (see below), here's something weird to consider: one of the suitors vying for Universal's entertainment assets, including its theme parks, is Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, better known as MGM. Parent company Vivendi Universal is looking to shed some of its holdings, including its entertainment division. That means that MGM, which lent its name to cross-town rival Walt Disney World for its Disney-MGM Studios, could end up running Universal Studios Florida (and the other theme parks in the Universal chain). Leo, the MGM lion, has no comment.
